Literature Text

Miyoa are small, furred creatures from a planet known as Anemi. Averaging around 3 feet in height, miyoa are, in general, fun-loving, social creatures. They come in a wide range of colors, from red, to green, to blue, to tan, to white, to black, to just about anything you could think of, in various combinations! Miyoa coats typically have between 1 to 3 colors in them, in strips that are mostly localized to the ears, tails, and limbs, but can appear elsewhere depending on the individual. Despite their fur, they wear clothing. Their eyes can come in a multitude of colors: blue, green, yellow, purple, red, white, or black, with red being uncommon compared to the first four and white and black being far rarer than that.

Above all, our most prominent features are large ears and 3 scythe-shaped tails. The ears are usually about 1.5 times as long as the individual's head is wide, but this can be shorter or longer depending on the individual. The ear canal is positioned on the frontside of the ear, sometimes edging more towards the underside. The tails are similar- in general they'll be about as long overall as the ears, but the exact angles and curvature of the tails will differ between individuals. Aside from that, the muzzle size and overall shape of the head will differ between individuals as well. Miyoa have 4 fingers and 3 toes, no claws.

In general, miyoa are herbivores, primarily eating leafy greens and fruit. They have high energy as children; it's very common to see groups of miyoa kids dashing from place to place just for the sake of running. This habit wanes as they grow older, but even adult miyoas still have a tendency to want to run around. They highly dislike being alone, preferring to stay in groups. Miyoa are allowed to leave home alone and take jobs starting when they reach 12 years of age, though they typically do not move out until around 18.

Miyoa are quite civilized creatures, building large cities and villages to live in together. Most miyoa villages will be found in forests, mostly treetops, and caves, set up for mining, but seeing large cities elsewhere is not uncommon. Even still, miyoa very much love nature, and would rather build with it than through it- even large cities tend to be built to make nature a major focal point, such as a city surrounding a massive tree.
